Mr. Charles Franklin Short "Chuck",60, passed away June 3 rd , 2023. He was born in Charlotte, NC on

September 21, 1962, to the late Wayne and Shirley Short.

There will be a graveside service held at 2:00pm on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Chuck loved his family, friends, and his church family with all his heart. He had a huge heart and loved

being around people. He loved talking about growing up with his family, cousins, and best friend

William. He loved working on cars, enjoyed going out to eat, shooting, reloading, and watching YouTube.

Living in Monroe, NC for the last 30 years, he worked at Advance Auto Supply and Tractor Supply. It was

very common that he would go somewhere, and somebody would come up to him and say, "I know you

from somewhere." Usually, it was from Advance or Tractor Supply. He would always go out of his way to

help his customers. Chuck will be truly missed and cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and

loved him.

Chuck is survived by his wife Robin Plyler Short, son Scott Short, brother Robert Short, Father and

Mother-in-law Ted and Lynn Gerlach, Sister-in-Law Amy Plyler Nunez (Gus Nunez), nephew's Wesley and

Evan Nunez, Cousins Neal Short (Kathy Short), Alan Short, Jesse Short, Samuel Short and Sherry Lynn

Timmons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Baptist Church, 2018 Highway 218 West,
