IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mr. Bradley Frank
Smith
June 18, 1965 – June 6, 2023
Bradley Frank Smith, lovingly known as Brad, passed away on June 6, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories in the hearts of his family and friends. Born on June 18, 1965, in Monroe, North Carolina, Brad was the beloved son of Billy Frank Smith and Dorothy Perkins Smith, who preceded him in death.
Cynthia Basinger Smith, Brad's wife, stood by his side as his confidante and partner. Brad and Cindy shared a lifetime of memories together, embracing the joys and challenges that life brought their way. Brad was a devoted father to his two daughters, Haley Smith Nash (Jeremy) and Katelyn Smith. In his later years, he shared countless hours and memories with grandchildren, Leighton, Ivy, and Brooks Nash. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he took great pride in watching his children grow.
In addition to his immediate family, Brad held a special place in his heart for his sister, Elizabeth Smith of Cramerton, NC, and his niece, Erica Griffin. Their bond brought joy and laughter to his life.
Brad was a man of many passions and loved sharing them with those around him. He found solace in the great outdoors, spending countless hours at the beach, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Brad's adventurous spirit and love for nature were evident in every expedition he undertook.
Known for his charismatic and sociable nature, Brad never met a stranger. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life and leave a lasting impression. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine interest in others endeared him to everyone he encountered.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 9th at Holland Funeral Home. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to join in commemorating his remarkable journey and sharing cherished memories. For those unable to attend the service, it will be live streamed via Zoom.
