Bobby Eugene Craig, 74, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born July 17, 1947, to the late RC and Ora Lee Craig. He is also preceded in passing by his wife, Joyce A. Craig; son, Bobby Ray Craig; and brother, James Nance. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Eastwood Forest Baptist Church, 112 Aurora Blvd, Matthews, NC 28105. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Michelle "Sassy" Witmore (JB), and Linda Johnson; grandchildren, Steven Craig (Gracie), Robbie Craig (Lindsey), Madison Craig, Tyler Haigler (Jonathan), Taylor Price (Garrett), Bright Johnson, and MacKenzie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Craig, Carson Haigler, Mason Haigler, and Brylee Johnson; siblings, Jeanette Simpson (Larry), Richard Craig (Phyllis), Diane Haywood, Edna Ray Burnette (Claude), Minnie Haywood (David), and Rudy Craig; significant other, Slyvia; special companion and beloved dog, Runt; best friends and neighbors, Joe and Betty Helms; and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Bobby was a man who had many joys in life. He loved sewing, woodworking, gardening, and selling produce, but above all he loved his family. Bobby cherished every moment he was able to spend with his family. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Craig Family.
