Mr. Billy Wayne Hasty, 85, passed away February 23, 2021. Mr. Hasty was born on August 11, 1935 in Union County to the late Boyce and Mary Bell Baker Hasty. He was a proud Army veteran and later went on to live his life as a hay farmer. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family welcomes anyone who would like to come by and sign the register to do so on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Holland Funeral Service & Crematory. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Eric Hasty (Becky); daughter, Tina English; grandchildren, Lindsay Helms (Mark), Cody Hasty, Elizabeth Cassidy (Bronson), Morgan English, and Trent English; great-grandchildren, Parker Cassidy, Nathan Helms, and Easton English; sister, Mary Bell (Richard); and cousin, Doris Starnes. In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in passing by his loving wife, Jerrie Clontz Hasty. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Hasty family.
