Mr. Barry L. Kueppers, 76, passed away December 7, 2021, at Atrium Health Union Hospital in Monroe, NC after a courageous 19-month battle with Covid-19. Mr. Kueppers was born on December 26, 1944, in Wayne County, Michigan to the late Herman Nicholas Kueppers and Genevieve Claypoole Kueppers. At the request of the family, no services will be held at this time. Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 55 years, Sherry Kueppers; daughters, Carolyn D. Rademaker (Jeffrey), Barbara J. Kueppers, Kathy D. Carrell (Scottie); grandchildren, Kirstyn Rademaker, Joshua Miles, Nicholas Rademaker, Zachary Miles (Dalton); sister, Hazel Holm; a great grandbaby arriving in February, Cove Alan Miles; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Barry and his family made their way from Detroit Michigan, St. Petersburg Florida, Inverness, Florida, Chattanooga, TN, and Ringgold, GA, before settling in North Carolina. Barry worked the past 16 years at Crete Carrier Corporation as an OTR driver through 48 states and Canada. He traveled with Cody, his four-legged long-time trucking buddy. Even though he was never able to return to his earthly home, the family finds comfort in knowing that he is resting eternally in his Heavenly Home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his brothers, Herman Kueppers, Kenneth Kueppers, and Donald Kueppers; sisters, Blanche Czubak, and Veldeen Darby.
