William Aubrey Gibson passed away at his home Friday, August 20, 2021 with his wife of 57 years Carolyn Gibson by his side. Aubrey Gibson is preceded in death by his: (Parents) W.P. Gibson and Eva R. Gibson, (Brother) Wayne Gibson and (Sisters) Rebecca and Gwendolyn Gibson. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Gibson, (Brother) John Gibson, (Sister) Janie Hornrine, (Sons) Darren Gibson (Sharon), Scott Gibson and Chris Gibson all of Wingate NC. (Grandchildren) Amanda, Lauren, Brittany, Logan, Hunter and Maggie. (Great Grandchild) Allison Lee, (Niece) Julie Gibson Tarlton (Buck), (Nephew) The late Kevin Gibson (Great Nephews) Shane and Dylin as well as a (Great-Great Nephew) Jordan. A public viewing will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Holland Funeral Service & Crematory. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Lakeland Memorial Park. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
