Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Aaron Michael Davis on December 25, 2023. Aaron, a resident of Rockingham, NC, was born on November 26, 1984.

He is survived by his daughter Caitlyn and son Nicholas, father Ray McGowan, sisters Erica (mother of nephew Kendall,) Anna McGowan (mother of niece Temperance) and Kayla Thomassie and husband David. Also surviving Aaron are his loving aunts Toni Whisnant and husband Anthony Whisnant Sr. and Joan Lanier. Cousins Nichole Butler, Anthony Whisnant Jr., Meleah Lanier and Emily Lanier are also in mourning.

He is preceded in death by his mother Angela McGowan, aunt Cynthia and grandmother Velma Lorraine

Taylor. I would like to take a moment to recognize those around Aaron who encouraged him and those that helped in his times of need. Aaron was a very private person and preferred to weather the storm alone. Although things may have become difficult, he was always optimistic, charismatic and encouraging. A very hard and long time worker at Perdue, Aaron was eager to work and provide for his family. He will be greatly missed. Our family respects the wishes of Aaron and will not be holding services. Though

Aaron was a private person, he contributed more to those around him than he could know and his loss is deeply felt. We thank you for respecting his privacy at this time.
