It is with great sadness that the family of Michael David Hayes announce his passing on June 9, 2023.

Michael was a Union County native, born and raised. He was best known as Mike, Uncle Mikey, Butch or Miquel. He had a huge heart and touched many others. He loved sports and no one best interrupt when Duke or the Panthers were playing.

Through so many years of battling addiction he has now been set free. Although he didn't love himself, he always loved God.

He will be deeply missed by his Mother Beverly Moser (Jimmy), sisters, Krystal Drake (Scott), Tammy Moser (Bill), and Cindy Moser, brothers, Chris Moser (Mandy), and JJ Moser (Kandy). He loved all his nieces and nephews but had a special bond with Aubrey and Dylan Drake, who will miss their Uncle Mikey tremendously. Many Uncles, Aunts, friends and family.

He is preceded in passing by his father, David Gill and niece, Rayanna Moser.
