Mary Ann Baucom, 95, went to her heavenly home August 24, 2026. She was born August 30, 1930 to the late Robert Sprowls and Helen Riggle Sprowls. Mary was a faithful woman who loved to sing for the Lord. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with her family; they were her pride and joy. Mary also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She won many talent shows with her beautiful voice and would never miss an opportunity to travel the world on a cruise ship. Mary will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

At the request of Mary, there will be no services. She kindly requested that those who loved her find joy and comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, John Haskell Baucom.

Mary is survived by her son, John Calvin Baucom, daughters, Jean Tarlton(Aaron) and Joyce Griffin; grandchildren: Nikki Carpenter (Clint), Katie Nance (Jonathan), John Calvin Baucom Jr.(Rachel), Justin Tarlton, Jacob Tarlton (Madison), Jodi Griffin (Winn), and Jeremy Griffin(Makayla) and great-grandchildren, Gage Carpenter, AJ Carpenter, Seth Baucom, Karli Nance, and Jaxon Baucom.
