Margaret "Libby" Starnes, 65, passed away October 20, 2019. Libby was born in Union County, NC on March 23, 1954 to Jack Lloyd Horton and Kathleen Carter Horton. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. John Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 AM. Mrs. Starnes will be laid to rest following the service at Lakeland Memorial Park. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Lester F. Starnes; mother, Kathleen Horton; sons, Brian Starnes, Roger Starnes (Samantha); daughter, Michelle McCarver (Bryan); brother, Greg Horton; sister, Tina Boney (Joe Don); grandchildren, Jordan Starnes, Dallas Starnes, Khaine Starnes, Kadence Starnes, Mason McCarver, Gunner McCarver, Leighney Hogan; great-grandchild, Mila Starnes. In addition to her father Libby was preceded in death by her father in law, Lloyd Field Starnes; mother in law, Nora Lee Starnes; and sister, Joann Morrow. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
