Louise Snow Holt flew away with her angels on December 07, 2017 in a peaceful sleep after a hard fought battle with leukemia, but not before getting a sassy new haircut. Her soul is free of her cancer riddled body and is currently taking long meandering walks with her dad in Heaven, or sneaking spirited peeks at her grandbabies, where she was happiest.� She came into the world on May 8, 1956, the daughter of the late Robert Carl Snow and Ruth Deal Snow of Concord, NC. Louise was a long time employee of Cannon Mills until its closing. She worked at Rite Aid in Harrisburg, as a pharmacy tech until April; when her body decided she would be better suited to keep hospital staff entertained with her gentle laughter and family stories. She was a Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune aficionado, Sudoku master, and loved collecting angels. She was a devoted mother to and is survived by 4 wonderful sons – David Snow and wife, Melissa of Mooresville, NC, Steven Holt of Mooresboro, NC; Joshua Holt and wife, Lauren of Royce City, TX; and David Holt and wife, Susan of Raleigh, NC. Her sons wish to express their condolences to everyone who didn't have a mom as remarkably awesome as theirs. Really, you missed out. In addition to her mother, she leaves behind her sisters, Marsha Luke and her husband, Jack of Monroe, NC; Robbin Snow Williams and her husband, Fred of Virginia Beach, VA; and Audrey Lee Snow of Concord, NC; 5 grandchildren- Laramie, Brantley, Tanner, Ella, and Mira; 13 nieces and nephews, as well as countless other family, friends, and loved ones. A celebration of a life well-lived and bidding farewell to this strong, brave, and beautiful soul will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Concord, NC. A colorful dress code would be appreciated as black was not her color. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
