Lila L. Britz, born February 11, 1936, went into the loving arms of the Lord, her husband, Arne Britz and her brother, Richard Johnson on October 10, 2019. She is survived by her son, Karl, daughters, Bonnie and Karen, son-in-law, Matthew, and grandsons, Cameron and Christian. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Phyllis Johnson, nieces, Linda and Laurie, and nephews, Bill and John. She is preceded in death by her father, Elwood Johnson, her mother, Gertrude (Tuomi) Johnson, sister, Phyllis, and brother, Robert. We have gained our guardian angel! She was surrounded by her family at her home in Waxhaw, NC. Our hearts are filled with so many memories of how dedicated, compassionate, and giving she was to all that she encountered. The guidance she gave as we were growing up, led us to be strong and loving, and have full lives. She sacrified so we could could lead rich and varied lives, all for the greater good of the family. Her infectious smile and laugh always brightened the room. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and will be missed by all.
