LaVonne Lillian Lucille Hagan, age 84, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away on June 7, 2026. She was the born on March 12, 1942, in Sebeka, Minnesota, to the late Alvin and Caroline Steinkraus. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Hagan; her children, Kalvin Reams, Marchelle (Mark) Wilson, Julie (Chad) Flournoy; step children, Machelle Lawson and Jimmy Hagan; 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, her daughter in law, Sue Reams; and her siblings, Linda (Paul) Avis, Marlyn (John) Dostal, Marlys (Dave) Bownes, Roger (Carol) Steinkraus, and Duane (Sue) Steinkraus.

Above all things, LaVonne loved Jesus and spending her time serving in the church. On the weekends, she could be found at garage sales, playing bingo, Yahtzee, Dummy Rummy, or camping. She loved Dr. Pepper, the Game Show Network, and especially her Tootsie pops. 

She is preceded in passing by her parents, her son, Chris Reams, and her stepson, Donald Wayne Hagan.
