Lavaughn Little, 76, passed away January 2, 2020. Lavaughn was born in Union County on October 15, 1943 to the late Bruce and Grace Riggins. Lavaughn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a very sweet nurturing spirit and will be missed by many. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2020 in the Blakely Funeral Chapel (The old Gordon Funeral Home on Franklin Street). The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry J. Little; daughter, Tracy Little Thomas; son, Greg J. Little (Christie); brother, Bobby J. Riggins; sister, Joyce E. Viall; grandchildren, Erica Laney (Josh), G. Jason Little Jr., Tyler Funderburke, Abbie Little; great-grandchildren, Braxton Poteat, and Kendall Laney. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Bart Little.
