Lauren Josie Haigler, 7 months old, passed away June 2, 2026, wrapped in the arms of her loving parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Shiloh Advent Christian Church, 3601 Sikes Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Baby Lauren will be laid to rest in the church cemetery immediately following the service.

She was preceded in passing by her brother, Joseph Walker Haigler, who passed in utero at 17 weeks.

Survived by her parents, Joseph and Jessica and sisters, Kenley and Amelia and many extended family members and friends who loved Baby Lauren dearly.

She is fiercely loved by so many and touched the hearts of people who never met her.

Lauren was born with congenital heart disease and faced every challenge as a true heart warrior, showing incredible strength and resilience. Through everything she went through, she was the happiest baby with the sweetest smile and brought such joy to all who knew her. She loved wagon rides, mat time on the floor with her toys and never missed out on a conversation. Though her incredible life was cut short, she never lived a day not knowing how loved she was. Even with living in the hospital the past 198 days she was able to do normal baby things. We cherished every milestone, celebrated every win and thanked God for every miracle he gave her. We will be forever grateful to LCH CVICU for the unrelentless love and compassion shown to Lauren and our whole family. They made her final moments filled with sunshine, love and peace. Her 7 months on earth were not near enough but may her life here on earth be a testimony to others. She was fearfully and wonderfully made.
