Kenneth Warren Simpson, 72, passed away August 24, 2015. Mr. Simpson was born in Union County, NC on April 3, 1943 to the late J.C. and Nancy Kathleen Mullis Simpson. Ken was a farmer for most of his life. He enjoyed gardening and fishing. Funeral services will be private. Mr. Simpson is survived by his loving wife Myrna Mullis Simpson; sons, Jarrod S. Simpson (Lori) of Charleston SC, Robbie E. Wright of Marshville, NC, Barry W. Wright (Della) of Denver, NC, Greg L. Wright of Marshville, NC; daughter Melissa S. Tucker (Chris) of Marshville, NC; brother, Melvyn Simpson (Mary Ann) of Raleigh, NC; sister Loretta S. Fincher; ten grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
