Kenneth David Bartlett, 69, passed away May 9, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout his battle, Kenny was blessed with unwavering support and love by a cast of friends and family who stuck with him until the Lord called him home.

Kenny was born November 4, 1956 to the late Milton Virgil Bartlett and Hildred Singleton Bartlett. Kenny was a man of strong faith and was not afraid to meet his Lord and Savior. He was a proud member of Harmony Community Church. Kenny’s moto in life was “Faith, Family, & Bama Football.” He was a strong leader and mentor to anyone in need and his qualities resonated within his son, Jeremy. Kenny was also a baseball fan and coach. In his earlier days he was a pitching coach for Jeremy and later went on to coaching baseball for his buddy, Zane. Kenny will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday May 16, 2026 at Harmony Community Church, 1984 Pulpwood Yard Road, Peachland, NC 28133. Mr. Bartlett will be laid to rest in the church cemetery immediately following the service. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 1:00pm until 1:45pm.

Kenny is survived by his son, Jeremy Bartlett, granddaughters, Ava Claire Bartlett, and McKenna Paige Bartlett; sisters, Janet Pair (John), Shelia Laney (Jeff), and Joy Bott (Thomas); numerous nieces and nephews, longtime friend, Treva Davis and her son, Zane Davis and his beloved dog, Abby Bartlett.
