Kenneth "Derrick" Burgess 55, passed away August 19, 2019. He was born in Union County on July 18, 1964 to Kenneth L. and Vera Sutton Burgess. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2019 at Fellowship Baptist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM. Burial will follow the service in Lakeland Memorial Park. Derrick is survived by his mother, Vera S. Burgess; son, Christopher Burgess; daughter, Noel Overstreet (Richie); and 4 grandchildren. Derrick was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Burgess; and sister, Pamela Hurlocker. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
