Karen Rae Chapman, our beloved Karen “ Mimi” peacefully went to be with the Lord On August 3rd 2026. Karen was born in Barberton, OH on October 30th 1943 to Paul and Helen Kolsar.

Karen was a passionate person who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved listening to music, Frank Sinatra being one of her favorites, playing the piano, dancing, planting flowers, baking and was an amazing cook. She took great pride in her home and it was a lovely place. She was a faithful member of Calvary Church. She deeply loved animals. She always had a dog in her home and usually a cat or two. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Talcott “Tuck”Chapman. 

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Rhonda Moreno and husband, Willie, Robin Rice, Rachelle Killman and husband, Jack and Roxanne Williams, her stepson, Brian Chapman (Paula), 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Her celebration of life is to be announced at a later date.
