� � ��� � � Dateline: Monroe, NC �Joyce Chaney Bivens, 79, passed away December 15, 2017. Ms. Bivens was born in Union County, NC on April 18, 1938 to the late Hurley George and Rossie Medlin Chaney. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and was very supportive to her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. Bivens will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Love Baptist Church in Monroe. Rev. Don Thompson will be officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private. She is survived by her son; Michael Lynn Moser and wife Michelle of Monroe, daughter; Wanda Moser Roberson of Monroe, brothers; Thurmon Chaney of Matthews, Hayden Chaney of Monroe, Aubrey Chaney of Monroe, sister; Lucille Rushing of Monroe, grandchildren; Christopher Michael Moser, and Matthew Douglas Moser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Doug Bivens.
