Obituary

Jonathan Mark Tremblay, from Wingate/Charlotte passed away on February 4th, 2020 at the young age of 30 . He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Hugh Gregory Jr. and Alice Faye Gregory, KaDonald Clay and Grace Clay. The family will have a gathering to visit with family friends at 6:00pm Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Blakely Funeral Chapel, 714 E Franklin Street Monroe, NC 28112. He leaves behind his mother and father, Tamara Gregory Clay and Donald Craven Clay of Wingate and Mark and Angela Tremblay of Polkton. His siblings Jessica Starnes, Christopher Kirby (Erica), Amanda Abee (Dustin), Donald Clay, and Jan Howell. His nieces and nephews: Chad Starnes, Christian Kirby, Davon Jordan, Ja'vonte Jordan, Brooklyn Kirby, Camdyn Kirby, Kyrin Kirby, Ava Abee, Tiffany Estelle. His girlfriend Martha and her daughter Lorena. Jonathan graduated from Forest Hills high school in 2008 and was pursuing his insurance license. He had a passion for fishing and nature, spending time with his family, all things superhero and Pokemon. He was adventurous and put his all into everything he did in life. Family was everything to Jonathan, from his nephews' football games, his nieces' volleyball games, being a mentor to his nephew, and a rock to his mother and father. Jonathan was always a child at heart, he was goofy, caring, and a superhero to everyone who knew him. He will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
