Johnny Ray Rape Sr, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior May 23, 2017. Johnny was born in Union County, NC on April 13, 1946 to the late Ney and Louise Rape. Johnny was a man of faith who was loved by his family. He loved working in the yard and in his garden. He was a true servant and will be greatly missed. A service to celebrate Johnny's life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM in the church sanctuary. There will be an open viewing from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Holland Funeral Service. Johnny is Survived by his loving wife of 49 years Doris McClain Rape; son, Johnny Ray Rape Jr; daughter, Cindy Rape Moore (Ted); brother, Wayne Rape (Bonnie); grandchildren, Matt Moore (Natalie), Blake Brooks (Ali), Lindsay Rape (Tiffany), Jessica Rape, Sarah Rape, Belle Rape, Emma Rape; great grandchildren, Mason Moore, Easton Moore, Avery Pressley, Daxton Brooks, and Trinity Taylor.
