Johnny Callahan, 71, Passed away on Monday April 22, 2019. Johnny was born in Richmond County, NC on November 17, 1947 to the late Will and Evelyn Callahan. One of his favorite past times was to shoot pool. He worked many years at the Monroe Hardware. He touched many lives throughout his lifetime. A service will be held to celebrate his life at 10:30 AM Wednesday April 24, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church in Marshville. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Surviving is his son, John Callahan (Tammy); his grandchildren, Chris Callahan, Joseph Neal & Brandon Hargette. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Jean Callahan and his sister, Daisy McKennon. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holland Funeral Service.
