Johnnie Lee Tarlton, 83, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was born July 18, 1937 to the late Henry Thomas and Ola Pressley Thomas. Johnnie is also preceded in death by her son, Douglas Hayne Tarlton. A visitation will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Baptist Church. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 3:00 PM. Preacher Roger Nance, and Rev. Phil Howell will be officiating. Johnnie is survived by her children, Crystal Francile Shearin and her husband Jeff Shearin; daughter-in-law, Dawn Tarlton; grandchildren, Douglas Hayne Tarlton Jr., Nikki Cox and her boyfriend, Michael Hochstetler, Ashley Shearin, Joey Shearin and his wife, Kimberly Shearin, Tony Haywood Jr. and his wife, Brenda Haywood, Dale Douglas Haywood; great-grandchildren, Hayden Troutman, Carson Price, Luke Price, JJ Shearin, Santiago Haywood, Destiny Shearin; siblings, Larry Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Caroll Thomas, Debbie Privette, Vicky Gause; and many other special family members and friends.
