John Neil Mullis born August 30, 1941, and closed the circle of life on February 27, 2022, in his home, surrounded by family, his two adoring dogs and love. He preceded in death by Father (Kirby), Mother (Edith), and Sister (Myrna) Waiting to reunite with him in heaven are his wife: Sara Mullis, Brother: Darrell Mullis (Linda), Sister: Janice Beasley (John), Children: Terry Mullis (Gina Sanders), Debbie Baucom (Randy), Pamela Arriaga (Phil), Tiffany Moser (Van), Melissa Valle, Kimberly Smith (Lee), Kari Kennedy, 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren John wore many hats for many people and was much loved by everyone who knew him. He was a stubborn, hard-headed, highly intelligent, loving, and hysterically funny country boy. He was a great teacher and mentor to many. He will be missed like no other. A Memorial will be held on March 10th at his home in Morven NC. from 12pm to 4pm.
