Obituary

Mr. Joe Frank Varnadore, was born on February 11, 1939, in Chester County. He was the son of Adam Varnadore and Fannie Varnadore. He spent most of his lifetime in the Great Falls community. He passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. 

Mr. Varnadore worked for Springs Industries until he retired. He was then able to devote his time to his business Joe's Taxidermy, where he was the owner and operator. He also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing for catfish with both family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 15th at 2pm at Mitford Baptist Church with Reverend Marty Roberts officiating. A memorial service will follow, beginning at 3pm. 

Mr. Varnadore is survived by his daughters, Sherry Varnadore Fudge and April Varnadore (Lisa); his grandchildren Jason Wright (Tifini), Amanda Varnadore (Bobby "Pickle" Waters), and Victoria Davis (Juquol); his great grandchildren, Taylor Davis (Austin), Jordan Wright, Matthew Steen, Mekayla Snipes (Trey), Raina Blackmon (Artez), Caleb Hauanio, and Ashton Hauanio; and his great great grandchildren, Liam Davis, Kaylee Waters, Stella Davis, Joshua Blackmon, and Oaklyn Snipes.

Mr. Varnadore was preceded in death by both of his parents, along with his wife of 42 years, Mrs. Shirley Gaston Varnadore; his son William Joe Varnadore Sr.; his grandson William Joe Varnadore Jr. "Bam" (Ashley); his brother, William Varnadore; and his sisters, Rosie Stagner and Rachel Knopf.
