Joan Carol Rockwood, 70, passed away on Friday July 31, 2015. Joan was born in Goshen, New York, on January 15, 1945 to the late Richard and Margaret Romer Christiansen. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 4:00 PM in Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Rowell and Rev. Leland Stephens officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 3:45 PM. Mrs. Rockwood is survived by her loving husband William "Bill" Rockwood; son, Douglas Corrow (Carol) of New York; daughters, Tami Barilli (Christopher)of Florida, Debbie Remsburger (Thomas) New York, Kathie Corrow (Bill) of New York; brothers, Richard Christiansen (Pat) of New York, Robert Christiansen (Janice) of New York; sisters, Alice Kreiling (Bill) of Florida, Patricia Austin of New York, Irene Christiansen (Serena) of New York; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond and Roy Christiansen.
