Jimmie was a giving man with a song in his heart. One of his greatest loves was singing in church with Inez and his children by his side. He was a man of character that believed in hard work and a man's word. He ran his own company, "Robinson Masonry" and offered a job to anyone that needed one.
His companies work is represented from Pageland, SC all the way to Charlotte, NC. He was proud of the talent he displayed in his work and shared his talent and skill not only with his sons but to strangers he happily employed.
He loved his family and he took responsibility for them at an early age by working hard and helping his mother provide for his sisters. He was an unselfish man that never complained about a hard days work but rather enjoyed the rewards of it.
He was much the same way with his wife, Inez. He cherished her and worked hard so that he could provide her a life that didn't demand for her to work. He loved being able to give her the opportunity to focus on what she loved most in this world; her husband and children.
Jimmie leaves his memories to be cherished to his sons, Jimmy "Poppy" Robinson Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Elvis Rivers of Suitland, MD. Sisters, Utha Louallen, Peggy James and Katrina Williams; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his wife Inez Robinson, Melvin Robinson, Ronald Robinson and Jamie Robinson Miller.
