Jessica Lynn Mckenzie, 39, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. She was born October 31, 1986 to Marilyn Nash McKenzie and the late Rev. Richard Edwin McKenzie. 

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in passing by her daughter, Makayla Lemmon, brother, Michael Edwin McKenzie, sister, Linda Kay McKenzie, one uncle, four aunts, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Jessica is survived by her children, Zack Lemmon, Angel Lemmon, Simone Lemmon, siblings, Richard Dale McKenzie, Thomas "BJ" McKenzie (Amanda), four uncles; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends. 

Jessica will always be remembered for her kind and warm hearted spirit. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Jessica would truly do anything for anyone. Jessica had many joy in life. She loved wildflowers and being outdoors, but, above all she loved her children. Jessica was loved by so many and will be cherished in the hearts by all those who knew and loved her.
