Jerrie "Diane" Hildreth went to her heavenly home on December 16, 2018. She was brought into this world on April 8, 1946 to the late Clarence and Mildred Laney, whom she loved dearly. While she was at the wonderful age of 72, she lived her life as if she were 21. Diane was the life of the party and everyone knew when she was in the room. Through her life she played by her own rules and was truly one of a kind. She loved many things in life such as Jesus, a good time, playing cards, cheating her way to winning, singing, creating gorgeous floral arrangements, cooking for everyone , and loving on her pups, but mostly, she loved her family beyond words. She leaves behind her husband, Robert Hildreth; devoted daughter, Connie Knight, favorite son-in law, Charles Knight; grand daughters, April (Jarrod) Bess, Lauren Knight; great grand babies, Noah Knight, Brynlee Bess, Brystol Bess; sisters, Louise Bradshaw, Donna Sexton; and many nieces and nephews that she loved like her very own. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Elliott and Mildred Hyatt. While we know that she is no longer suffering and is walking those sreets of gold, we can't help but to miss her spunky self. Until we meet again! Because she wouldn't have it any other way, a service to truly celebrate her life will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at Centerview Baptist Church In Marshville at 4:00 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 3:45 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centerview Baptist Church. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
