James "Pete" Hoyte Haire, 78, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. Pete was born on February 20, 1937 to the late James Franklin and Ruby Lee Price Haire. He was a simple man and was dedicated to his family. He loved to farm and garden. A private graveside was held Monday, March, 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pete was survived by his sister Betty Kiker (Bradley) of Marshville, NC; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents by his brothers, Jesse Odell Haire, Wayne Haire; and�his sister, Allene Steen.
