� James "Larry" Horne, 75, of Peachland, North Carolina passed away April 6, 2017. Larry was born in Union County, North Carolina on December 12, 1941, to the late James and Sarah Baucom Horne. He was a 1960�graduate of New Salem High School and retired from ATI Alvac with 41 years of service. Larry was loved by many and will always be remembered for his time at James Michael & Company opening the doors and greeting the customers with his loving personality. � A service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Peachland Gospel Tabernacle Church, 66 W. Passaic St. Peachland, NC 28133. Rev. Lynn Garris, Rev. Donnie Morris, and Rev. Jean Taylor will be officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM. Burial will follow at Pine View Cemetery in Peachland. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet Rollins Horne; sons, Jamie Horne (Tonda) of Unionville, and Dennis Horne (Alice) of Peachland; brothers, Mitchell Horne (Brenda) of New Salem, Curtis Horne (Bertha) of New Salem, and Gene Horne (Kathy) of New Salem, granddaughter, Grace Marie Horne; pawpaw's special children, and sister in law, Sharon Rollins.
