� James Scott Hargett Jr., 80, of Waxhaw, passed away on the morning of March 18, 2018. He was born on August 9, 1937 in Union County to the late James Scott Sr and Lessie Bell Hargett. �Mr.Hargett enjoyed spending time with his family, and watching movies with his wife and cat George. He also loved to spend time reminiscing on his days as pilot. Mr. Hargett is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Ann Hargett;� his devoted daughter, Sylvia Ann Pennington and her husband Gary; brother, John Hargett; sisters, Ann Sutta, Katie Shaw, and June Keller; grand-daughter, Emily Ann Brown and her husband Tyler; and his great-grand-daughter, Chloie Ann Brown.
