In Loving Memory of Jacob Steven O'Bryon
May 10, 2000 – October 21, 2026
With heavy hearts and enduring love, we celebrate the life of Jacob Steven "Jake" O'Bryon, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 26.
Jake was a truly remarkable young man whose heart was every bit as beautiful as his gift for music. A talented musician, he shared his creativity, passion, and joy with everyone around him. His wonderful sense of humor and infectious laughter could brighten any room, and his presence brought comfort and happiness to those fortunate enough to know him.
Jake found joy in life's simple treasures: creating and enjoying music, spending precious time with family, relaxing days at the beach, and the companionship of his beloved German Shepherd. He lived with authenticity and gratitude, cherishing the people and moments that mattered most.
Known for his kindness and genuine spirit, Jake was thoughtful, loyal, and always willing to help others. One of the qualities most often remembered by those who knew him was his unwavering goodness. In fact, it is often said that Jake never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He treated others with compassion, grace, and respect, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Jake loved the Lord, and one of the greatest blessings of his life was coming to understand just how deeply God loved him. His faith grew beyond belief into a personal understanding that he was unconditionally loved by his Creator. While our hearts ache for the years we will never share with him, we find comfort and peace knowing that Jake knew this precious truth and rested in the assurance that he was deeply loved by both his family and his Savior.
Jake is survived by his parents, Stephanie and Lane O'Bryon; his brothers, Connor and Aiden O'Bryon; his grandparents, Ruth and Roger O'Bryon; his grandmother, Siree Shindle; his uncle, Aubrey Phair; his aunt and uncle, Kristen and Virgil Richie; his cousins, Weston and Julia Richie and Mariana Phair; along with a large extended family and countless friends who were blessed by his life and friendship.
Though we were blessed with only twenty-six short years with Jake, he gave us memories that will last a lifetime. His laughter, his music, his faith, and the goodness of his heart will forever be missed and lovingly remembered.
