Jackie Lou Green, 68, of Marshville, NC, formally of Yorkville Ohio entered into eternal rest on July 6, 2026.
Jackie was the beloved daughter of the late John (Jack) Green and the late Elsie Green. Jackie is survived by her Partner Squeaky. Her Loving Daughters Roxanne Dombo (Doug Fletcher) of Flushing, OH and Nicole Byrum (Adrian Byrum) of Rock Hill, SC and her Bonus son Stephen Martin of Marshville, NC. Her sisters Patty (late Gary Wick) of Rayland, Ohio and Sharon (the late Dick Purr) of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Her Grandchildren Megan Summer, Matthew Summers, Mallory Morrow and Joseph Morrow, Jasmine Byrum, Jocelyn Byrum, Jayden Byrum, Shemita Massey and Geneva Massey. 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jackie is preceded in death by her brothers, Sam Green, and Danny Green and her daughter Tammy Massey (Jeffrey Massey).
Born in Wheeling, WV and Raised in Yorkville, OH Jackie was a 1976 graduate of Buckeye South High School. Jackie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend whose life was defined by compassion, service, and dedication to her community. She made history as one of the first female volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Yorkville, Ohio, where she selflessly served those in need with courage and kindness.
In addition to her service as a volunteer EMT, Jackie dedicated many years to the restaurant industry as the General Manager of Wendy’s, where she became known for her strong leadership, tireless work ethic, and genuine care for both her employees and customers. She mentored countless team members, built lasting relationships, and earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Jackie will be remembered for her unwavering strength, generous heart, and the lasting impact she made on her family, friends, coworkers, and the Yorkville community. Her legacy of service, leadership, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
