Henry "Ellis" Yeargins of Mint Hill, NC and recently of Fort Worth, TX went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11th, 2016.� Ellis was born in Point Peter, GA in February of 1937 to Obie and Lilla Yeargin.� A family memorial service will be held at a later date in Charlotte, NC.� Memorials may be made to Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill. After high school, Ellis proudly served in the US Army where they added an '-s' to his name! When his enlistment was complete, he started his 40-year career in computer systems with a bank in Charlotte that would grow to become Bank of America.� Ellis loved spending time with his wife Shirlene, playing golf, traveling, and time with his granddaughters. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jean Campbell, his brother Clyde, and his wife Shirlene.� He is survived by his sister Lou Ellen Wiles, his son Michael Yeargins of Panama City, FL, his son Doug Yeargins and Teresa of Ft. Worth, TX, his granddaughters Lily and Claire, and a host of nieces and nephews.
