George Emerson Frazier Jr. was born and raised in Hamlet, North Carolina, he lived a life shaped by service, hard work, and deep love for his family. After graduating high school, he voluntarily joined the United States Air Force, serving three years and spending time in Vietnam as an aerial photographer. In 1967, he began his long career with CSX Railroad, where he worked faithfully for decades.

He later married Velma McNair, and together they welcomed one daughter, Tracy Michelle Frazier‑Watkins. After retiring, he made his home in Monroe, North Carolina, where he lived peacefully until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Louise Williams‑Frazier; his father, George Frazier Sr.; his sister, Claudia Frazier; and his brother, Charles Frazier.

He leaves behind his daughter, Tracy Watkins (Ranzell L); three grandsons, Andre E. Frazier (Jasmine), Joshua N. Watkins (Ashley), and Ranzell B. Watkins; and his great‑granddaughter, Kennedy Jade Watkins. He is also survived by his sister, Dorthy Campbell (Billy, Barry, Adrian, Missy), his brother, William Frazier (Brian Frazier), several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends who loved him.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026 at 1:00pm at Holland Funeral Service located at 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. Mr. Frazier will be laid to rest immediately following services at Lakeland Memorial Park, located at, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Daddy, you taught me how to tie my shoes because you tied them so tight I had to learn myself. You taught me how to tell time on my strawberry shortcake watch. You taught me to fish and bait my hook, because you knew that if you didn’t, I would tie a string to your big toe all the way to my room so you wouldn’t leave me and go to the best fishing spots. You taught me how to sit like a proper lady, and you instilled good values in me—not to envy what others have, but to trust God for His provision.

God gave us so many minutes, hours, weeks, months, years, and decades together, and for that I’m truly grateful and blessed. Rest well, my daddy, in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
