Dateline: Monroe, NC Gary Louis Wilson, 63, passed away January 27, 2016. Gary was born in Mecklenburg County on October 1, 1952 to the late Louis N. and Betty Starnes Wilson. A service to celebrate Gary's life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2016 in the North Union Chapel Church of God, 12411 Bain School Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227 with Rev. Doug Carpenter officiating. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM for fellowship and refreshments. Gary is survived by his loving wife Sylvia Privette Wilson; sons, Aaron Winston (Dana) of Monroe, Brian Winston (Melissa) of Wingate; daughter, Gail Pagano of Indian Trail; sister, Terry Wilson of Mint Hill; nieces, Desiree, and Sheree; nephew, Michael; 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-nephews.
