Dateline: Wingate, NC Gary Wayne Medlin, 62, passed away April 9, 2018. Gary was born in Stanly County, NC on June 28, 1955 to the late Robert Luther and Ruby Poplin Medlin. Gary was the owner and operator of A-Gold-N-Pawn. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Euto Baptist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Gary is survived by his loving wife Jo Medlin, sons; Johnathan Medlin, Christopher Medlin, and James Thomas,  brothers; Ward Medlin, and Mark Medlin, sister; Lynn Pickett, grandchildren; Gage Medlin, and Corbin Medlin, and special family; Gil and Bennie Almond.
