Frances LaNell Graham, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026. Born on May 14, 1947 to the late Marcus McKinzie and Jeffie McKinzie. 

In addition to her parents Frances is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 25 years, Melvin Kenneth Graham, brothers, Joe McKinzie and James McKinzie, sister Jeffie Marie Hart, and son in law Tim Strickland. 

She is survived by her  children, Matt Graham (Melissa), Tony Graham (Tabatha), Lisa Strickland, brother, Randy McKinzie, grandkids, Ashley Currie (Chris), Taylor Graham (Melissa), Mackenzie Hammitt (Ty), Candace Knight (Jeremy), Michael Boyd (Tim), Savannah Graham (Kayla), Chase Strickland, Kade Graham (Abbey), Anthony Strickland, Connor Graham, and 8 great grandkids. 

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am until 11:45am.
