Evangelist Kim Rockett peacefully entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, unconditional love, and faithful service to God and others.

Born on July 18, 1956, in East St. Louis, Illinois, Kim was the beloved daughter of Bertha Mae Owens and T. Hubbard and was lovingly raised by Sterling Owens. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mentor, and friend whose greatest desire was to see others know Christ and discover who God created them to be.

In 1990, Kim accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, beginning a lifelong commitment to ministry. She faithfully served at House of Prayer, Power of Change Ministries, Power of Deliverance Ministries, and New Destiny Ministries. From approximately 2012 until her passing in 2026, she faithfully served with the Intercessory Prayer Connection Commute (IPCC) Prayerline as a minister, lead intercessor, and prayer warrior. Through countless prayers, she faithfully stood in the gap for families, communities, and individuals, believing that prayer could change lives.

Kim dedicated more than 20 years of service to St. Louis Job Corps, where she inspired and mentored young adults, many of whom continued to share how profoundly she impacted their lives. She also enjoyed encouraging others through Kim’s Consignment (Worthy Fashion) and sharing the hope of Christ through her ministry on WESL 1490 AM.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Bertha Mae Owens; her birth father, T Hu.bbard; the father who lovingly raised her, Sterling Owens; her sister, Michelle Parker; and her brothers, Marvin Owens and Jesse Owens.

Kim leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughters, Letrice Rockett and Gaybriel “Gabby” Rockett; the father of her daughters and devoted caregiver, Gaylord Rockett; her beloved grandchildren, Keanna Lewis, Devonte Lewis, Princess Gordon, Noble Gordon, and DeAngelo Gordon; her cherished great-grandchildren, Dieudonne Mwepu and Gianni Mwepu; her loving brother, Raymond Owens; her cherished Rockett sisters and brothers in love, with whom she shared a special and enduring bond; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, church family, fellow prayer partners, former students, dear friends, and all whose lives were forever changed by her love, faithful prayers, and unwavering faith.

Her life was a reflection of the words she often shared: “Know who you are because you know whose you are.”
