Date Line: Monroe, NC Esther Louise Gibson, age 78, of Albemarle, North Carolina, passed away January 22, 2016. Esther was born on April 11, 1937 to the late Rupert and Lucille Moore. Esther is survived by her husband, William R. Gibson; her seven children, Tony Plyler, Renita Connell, Naomi Murray, Lottie Vance, Harvey Plyler, Connie Plyler, and William R. Gibson Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; brother Melvin Moore; and sister Renee Moore Devoe. In addition to her parents Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra D. Gibson. A graveside memorial service will be held at Siler Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wesley Chapel, NC on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Rev. D.R. Helms officiating.
