Elsie Moore Privette, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 4, 2020. She was born February 8, 1933 to the late Lester Moore and Mamie Helms Moore. Elsie is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dewey Lee Privette; great-grandson, Brandon Winston; brothers, David Moore, John Moore; and son-in-law, Gary Wilson. The Privette family will not be present for the duration of the viewing but encourage anyone who would like to attend the viewing for Ms. Elsie to stop by Holland Funeral Service on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 9:00am until 5:00pm. Services will be held from the graveside at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227. Elsie is survived by her children, Gerald Privette (Diane), Sylvia Wilson, Randy Privette (Rita), Cindy Helder (Jake); brothers, Sidney Moore (Dot), Harvey Moore (Vera), Floyd Moore (Elease); nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. Elsie was a kind and soft-spoken woman and her faith in her Christianity was strong. She attended Matthews Church of God, where she served as a charter member. Elsie loved gospel music and visits from family and friends. Although Elsie had four children of her own, she was a mother to so many more. Elsie's memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
