Elsie Turner Dunn, 94, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was born August 27, 1925 in Nash County to the late George Flora and Virginia Daniels. Elsie was also preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Edward Turner, her son, James Lynn Turner, her daughter, Penny Turner, and second husband, Thomas Dunn. Services will be held from the graveside at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount, at a later date. Elsie is survived by her son, Frank Edward Turner Jr. (Barbara) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, daughters, Sandra Turner Bell (Ronnie) of Cape Carteret, NC Cristi Turner Slape (Dee) of Monroe, NC. Elsie was also blessed with ten grandchildren, Marcy Bell Gilliard, Carly Bell Behrmann (Chris), Casey Bell, Jimmy Turner (Chantelle), Dana Turner Barbin (Jeremy), Devin Turner, Autumn Turner, Nick Slape, Gabrielle Slape, Zach Slape, and ten wonderful great-grandchildren. Elsie moved to Autumn Care in Marshville, NC in 2013 to be near her youngest daughter, Cristi. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any food bank supporting the Corona Virus in memory of Ms. Elsie. Holland Funeral Service is serving the Dunn Family.
