It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth "Irene" Clark on September 24, 2024, at the age of 82. Irene was born on September 4, 1942 in Bellaire, OH to Steve and Mildred McVicker Holub.

Irene received a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Phoenix and worked at Motorola for 30 years as a Computer Engineer, retiring at the age of 54. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, the beach, and reading. She was a member of the Bellaire Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her daughter Cathy Spencer, brothers Tom Holub and Bob Holub, sisters Margaret Spoon, Linda Jean Phillips, Louise Helms, and ex-husband Charles Clark.

She is survived by her sister Rose Merrymen, her son Edward Clark, daughter-in-law Sharon Clark, grandchildren Shannon Honor, Shaun Darden, Stephanie Clark-Borenstein, Courtney Clark, Emily Clark, six great grandchildren plus one due in February, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial service will be held at the Bellaire Senior Center on Saturday October 26, 2024 at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bellaire Senior Center at 3396 Belmont St, Bellaire, OH 43906.
