Edith Vera Sutton, 83, passed away February 22, 2019. Edith was born in Union County, October 5, 1935 to the late Roy and Odessa Bailey Williams. She was a loving, caring Mother and Grandmother. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday February 25, 2019 at Central United Methodist Church in Monroe. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior the service. She will be laid to rest at Lakeland Memorial Park following the service. Survivors are her sons, Danny Reed Sutton (Beth), Roy Cleve Sutton (Rhona), Charles Michael Sutton (Cindy), Ricky Lane Sutton (Betty); daughter, Janet S. Denton (Greg); brother, David Williams (Gladys); Lorraine Kiker (Paul); 18 grandchildren and numerous Great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Reed Sutton; brothers, Olin Williams, Clegg Williams and her sister Ellia Thomas. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
