Dr. John Vincent Cattie, 75, of Monroe NC, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born January 3, 1949, to the late Vincent and Helen Cattie, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Wilkinson, brother, Paul Cattie and beloved yellow lab, Banx.

Dr. Cattie dedicated his life to serving his community for over 30 years and cherished every moment. He was a loving and caring husband. His kindness and generosity will be missed greatly.

Dr. Cattie is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kimberly Cattie, daughter, Kristen Cattie Gifford (Ryan), grandsons, Christopher and Josh, and granddaughter, Eme. Son, John Cattie Jr. (Stephanie), and grandson, Tucker. Sister, Delores Cattie Kane (Michael), brother, Donald Cattie (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his constant companions Stoney, Butterscotch, Rain Rain, Mommy Mommy, and Sam

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Winston Chapel of Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive Monroe NC 28112.
