Mr. Donald “Bobby” Medlin, 70, passed away April 18, 2026. Mr. Medlin was born in Union County, North Carolina on September 14, 1955. Bobby was a kind, selfless, and generous man. He loved his family and getting to spend time with them. He cherished every turkey shooting competition he was able to go to with his brother, Danny. Bobby’s kindness and loved also extended to animals; he was an animal lover. Additionally, Bobby was a proud Mason with the Union County Shrine Club. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.

Bobby is preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Deborah Medlin, his father, Jarvis Medlin, mother, Mary Griffin Medlin, and sisters, Teresa McWhorter, and Gwen Canon.

He is survived by his son, Jarvis “Rob” Medlin (Ashley), brother, Danny Medlin (Tina), stepmother and family, Jean Beasley (Bill); and numerous other family members and friends.
