David Henry Thomas III, 75, passed away August 19, 2017.�David�was born in Anson County, NC on June 10, 1942 to the late Dorothy Lewis and David Henry Thomas Jr. David attended Wingate Junior College and Western Carolina University. He was a radio announcer for WADE Radio following that he worked in the furniture industry up until his retirement. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Eastview Cemetery in Wadesboro. David is survived by his son, David Eric Thomas; sisters, Patricia Crowell of Myrtle Beach, SC, Faye Livengood of Durham, and Denise Pate of Fayettville; grandchildren, Timothy Bowers, Cage Roasted, Madelynn Thomas,�Jilliann Thomas, Lauren Thomas, and Savannah Adams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynn Marie Bowers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Anson Senior High School Football Program, or the First United Methodist Church of Wadesboro. Holland Funeral Service & Crematory has been given the privilege of caring for the Thomas family. �
