Cora Dean Wallace, 88, passed away on July 22, 2019. Cora was born in Union County, NC on March 6, 1931 to the late Floyd and Rose Stegall. A service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 3:00 PM in Hillcrest Baptist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Cora enjoyed the outdoors and getting to sit on her porch. She loved to read her Bible and pray. Cora also loved her Church and choir very much. When it came to family she loved everyone very much especially her grandchildren, she was like a second mother to them. Cora is survived by her son, Coyt Wallace Jr.; brother, Walter Stegall; grandchildren, Jeff Wallace, Nicky Wallace, CJ Wallace, Luke Wallace; great-grandchildren, Timothy Wallace, Jourdain Wallace, Emmaline Wallace, and Lola Wallace. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Coyt Lenard Wallace Sr.; daughter, Brenda Dean Wallace; brother, Floyd Stegall; sisters, Ruth Harris, Shirley Simpson, and Linda West.
